28 Weeks

How far along: 28 WONDERFUL weeks

Size of babies: Still my little Eggplant's, but they are about out of this stage.  A new size with next week!

"Welcome to the third trimester! Moms-to-be who are at 28 weeks and beyond are known for their lack of sleep. Remember if you find yourself up in the middle of the night, do something relaxing. This is not the time to vacuum the house from top to bottom -- even though you might feel the urge to do that at some point. Read a book, drink chamomile tea, listen to soothing music. Then try to get back to bed and get some rest! Being in the third trimester also means much of your and baby’s anatomy are ready to go -- They are prepping for breathing, and your breasts already have colostrum, which is what baby will eat the first few days until your milk comes in. You’ll also start feeling more Braxton Hicks contractions as your body gets ready for labor. Baby will keep getting bigger -- and smarter -- after week 28, and other than that, they just needs a few more finishing touches" - The Bump

Best moment of the previous week: Having a husband who cleans a lot.  He is so on top of the housework, which is amazing considering I am still working full time and that leaves me exhausted for when I get home.

Can't wait till we can both relax... I know he is looking forward to the days he can take our babies fishing!  In the meantime I am finding lots of cute outfits for them which relate to fishing!!

Movement: Still having crazy dancing babies.

Symptoms: Swelling here and there still with my feet and ankles.  I have really been able to start feeling my hips stretching, if that is the right word.  I just feel like my body is really starting to prepare for the babies birth.

Food cravings/aversions: Cider & Apple Cider Donuts, I really can't wait to make time to head over to an orchard & pumpkin farm!

What I am looking forward to:  Everything being done.  Is that possible?

Weekly wisdom:  "Stick a fork in me, I am done!"  Wow is it amazing how quickly your body can change in a week.  This week I have been feeling so so pregnant.

I have to share a photo my friend had posted.  Scares me a bit for the future! ;)
