29 weeks

How far along: 29 weeks

"You’re probably already getting a little preview of babies personality, the more your feel them move. You might get some playful kicks and jabs, and start to feel little hiccups, too! At 29 weeks, they are not just moving a lot, they are also plumping up. And as they continue, it will put pressure on your digestive system, you’re going to feel the effects: hemorrhoids, heartburn, pelvic pain and frequent urination are all common at this stage in the game. Week 29 is a good time to start finalizing stuff, like stocking the nursery with baby care essentials and checking out a few potential day cares. You’ll also want to start packing a few things you know you’ll want with you at the hospital at baby’s birth. Leave it by the door, so you can add stuff you think of along the way -- and so you can grab it at a moment’s notice." - The Bump

Size of babies: 2 little squash, perfect for October!!

Baby already measures about 15.2 to 16.7 inches long. Right now, they weigh about 2.5 to 3.8 pounds but they still got a ways to go -- can you believe they will triple in weight before birth?

Best moment of the previous week:  Spending time with my husband, and parents while getting the house re-arranged for the babies.  Also seeing both my sisters who are eager to help with baby things!
Movement:

Symptoms: With the beginning of this week, I started getting pre-term contractions.  Good old Braxton Hicks, my husband was too cute when I told him about them, he said it sounded like a country song.  They started on Sunday while I was at Menards with my mom to get paint.  They came when I was doing "too much".  By tuesday it was off to see my doctor, and he checked my cervix.  Good news is it was closed!  Bad news, I have to take medication, Procardia, when the contractions start up.  I will be going back next week to see him again for another check.  Babies better calm down, mama is not ready for you to come yet!!

Food cravings/aversions: This has been a werid week for me.  I really don't have much of an appeitie, and nothing appeals to me.  I am usually too tired to make dinner, but try as best I can.
What I am looking forward to:

Weekly wisdom: Take as much time as you can to enjoy being pregnant. It flies by.

Belly Pic:
I'm horrible and didn't get one yet.  I will try to get one for tomorrow to add!
